Dennis led the opening prayer at the Carol City Church
on Sunday to start our last week. The men's group was in charge
of leading the service. Butch participated in the choir
and Cheri sang for the congregation.

On Monday Pastor Brookens made a big breakfast for the team
as we gathered at 7:00 am there was enough food for leftovers to be enjoyed.

Scott and Dennis worked on installing the new entrance doors on the church on Monday.

Kay painted purple on the church signs on the corner of the church property.

Al worked on finishing the new ramp inside the church.

Cheri painted the gray floor of the court yard.

Nancy cut in and rolled the front steps black at the church main entrance.

Bonnie raked and cleaned up the church yard.

Kay power washed the sidewalks around the church.

The finished court yard,  The doors were fixed.  The air conditioners
were framed and painted. The doors were painted lilac mist, the walls purple,
the fascia white, the underside gray and the floor gray.

Scott stained and applied polyurethane to the new handicapped ramp
inside the church, when  the church members saw the ramp
they were thrilled with it and the way it looked.

Butch fixed the lights and cleaned the outside sign of the church.

Scott gave the iron around the windows a new coat of black paint.

The completed front of the church, The team fixed the over hang,
roof, soffits and fascia's.  We painted the entire outside of the church.
We also installed an outside handicapped ramp.

The bathroom area was given new life. The team fixed the boy and girls
bathrooms where needed. We rebuilt door and painted the walls
and floor as well as the decorative cement blocks on the outside walls.

On Wednesday night the church gave our team an appreciation dinner.
Several members of the church provided food.
They were very happy with the face-lift of their church and could
not believe how much work the team accomplished in our time here.

We left on Thursday morning and headed for central Florida.
On Friday we attended the NOMADS Florida get together
at the Life Enrichement Center in Fruitland Park where
we will be staying on our rest period time for a couple of weeks.
It was fun to see old friends and make new ones.
Lunch was catered by the Life Enrichment Center.

Today we are planning on attending the Homer get together in
Zephyrhills, Florida for a potluck luncheon. We will get to see
several people from our hometown in Michigan. We have very
little planned for the next three weeks as we rest for our next project.
