Our second week at Blue Lake was productive! It was still very hot and sunny but we got a lot done!
Saturday most of the team went to Zaxby's for dinner.
Sunday after church the youth group had a BBQ lunch & bake sale. NOMADS bought some "snacks."
Sunday night we had a movie & snack night, Mike came and settled in early. We watched "God's Not Dead 2" and shared snacks and popcorn.
Our week was filled with lots of calking. Geary calked around windows.
Bill & Mike continued working on the archery shelter building.
Jim, Ruthie & Faith calked the ceiling of the chapel and finished the drywall work.
Kathy began the painting with the fascia & soffets of the chapel.
Faith & Nancy put primer on the newly replaced outside wood siding.
Dennis & Geary scraped, calked & painted the peaks of the church.
Jim sanded the inside drywall repair.
Nancy painted doors & the handicapped ramp.
Kathy & Dennis painted the window trims outside.
Ruthie & Faith taped the inside of the chapel for spray painting next week.
Mike, Geary, Jim & Bill started putting boards across the trusses for the archery roof.
Thursday night Dave's Catfish provided dinner for us. They brought Catfish, Chicken Strips, Cheese Grits, Coleslaw, Hush Puppies and tea.
