Neptune Beach Florida Week 2 Nomads Nov 12 - 18, 2016

This week we were able to complete a lot of the work on the list for the church.

We went to church on Sunday at Christ UMC where we are working.  After church we went to eat at Singleton's Seafood Shack right on the water.

We knew it was a good place to eat when we saw all the birds hanging around outside.

Bob's dad Bob senior joined the team for lunch.

There was a boat museum in one room.  All handmade boats by the original owner of the restaurant.

Bill painted the brown accent trim around the stainglass windows in Wilson Hall.

Shirley found a door that needed primer & painting.

Don was kept busy putting lights together & up.  Bobbie painted the choir cabinets & partitions.

Jim sanded door frames in addition to putting up lights.

Ogie painted in the kitchen.  One of the smallest areas was under the dishwasher.

Dennis installed door trim around the choir room door.

Nancy put up baseboard in the choir room, kitchen & fellowship hall. Bill helped put baseboard in the fellowship hall.

We had to get a picture of the super moon that occurred this week.

Bob sorted & organized the choir music.

Ogie painted the kitchen sink cabinet.

Dennis took the plain plywood doors in the entryway & turned them into eye catching doors by cutting & applying trim boards for highlights.

Bob painted up high in the kitchen & painted over ghosts on the walls.

Shirley painted around the outside of the newly installed air conditioner.

On Friday some of us went to Mayport & took the ferry across the St. John's River.

We ate lunch at Sandy Bottoms.  Our table was in the sand on the beach.

We then went to Fort Clinch state park.

The fort is right on the beach.
