Crystal River, Florida Dec 3 to Dec 9, 2017

This was our second week in Crystal River, Florida. There was a lot of activities going on.

The church had a float in the Christmas Parade on Saturday evening.  Dennis & Nancy helped the church pass out candy along the parade route and loaned them his generator to run the lights on the float.

The church presented a Christmas concert Sunday afternoon. They had their adult choir, children's choir, bell choir,' and several small group choirs. The theme was "What If". The theme was about what if Joseph had made a different decision about Mary's pregnancy.

Dennis reattached the board that had came loose & added leveling compound to the platform in the sanctuary.

Nancy sanded and removed excess leveling compound & calking

We went to the gulf to see the sunset on Tuesday evening.  It was a perfect night.

We brought our dinner & had a picnic at the gulf beach. The weather was warm but the gnats decided to also show up.

Donna & Nancy helped build Bethlehem for the church's live Nativity.

Anna & Marty worked on the Bethel Chapel.  They worked on installing a return air channel for the Hvac system.

Donna & Nancy decorated the snack tables for Bethlehem Walk.

Nancy painted the second coat on the risers for the new platform in the sanctuary.

Louis worked on electrical. Being a Florida guy the dip in temperatures had him layering up to work outside.

The paint on the risers on the new platform in the sanctuary was finished. Now the project waits for the flooring to arrive.

Thursday night we had a Christmas Party complete with a robber gift exchange. Everyone brought snacks to share and a gift from the thrift store.

The antlers picked up at the Grinch-mas in town were party favors.

We attended the Bethlehem Nativity walk sponsored by the church on Friday evening.
