This was our last week in Hattiesburg Mississippi as leaders. We finished another house & started 2 new houses. We had a large team of 11 Nomads this week.
After church Sunday we went to Movie Star restaurant for dinner. It is large buffet. The building is decorated with antique signs.
We had our Sunday evening meeting. Two new camp units joined us. Randy and Mary & Gary and Sharon who take over the lead in Hattiesburg next week.
Dennis finished the drywall in the master bathroom. Now it is ready for the tile around the bathtub.
At Gray's Crossing the rail of the porch was painted by Mary .
Gary, Randy & Steven installed the aluminum rap on the fascia.
At Griffith street Sharon painted touch up paint on the walls, doors, & trim.
Dennis had to trim the door for one of the closets.
At Rebecca Butch & Gene worked at installing the suspended ceiling.
Dennis & Gary hung the utility door. It was a short door & had to be custom fit.
Cheri painted the French doors on the house at Grays Crossroad.
Steven primed & painted the trim around the porch area.
Nancy stained the floors in Petal.
Gene gets the plumbing in the bathroom ready for the vanity installation.
Gene, Dennis, & Gary installed a new door at Griffth Street. The door was recycled & had to be primed & painted.
Butch hooked up the plumbing to the bathroom stool.
Gene unlocked the door to the storage shed & removed the pins so that a new lock can be installed.
Our team this week: Mary Ann & Gene, Sharon & Gary, Mary & Randy, Steven, Cheri & Butch, & Nancy & Dennis (leaders).
Nancy put two coats of polyurathane over the newly stained floors at Griffth Street.
Butch reinstalled the brick decorative wall at the front door.
Randy worked on the fascia at the new project on chestnut street.
In the house on Griffith the floors looked like new. They were the original wood floors in the house.
The final coats of stain were put on the deck.
The brick wall was completed.
At Rebecca Street the new suspended ceiling was completed.
Dennis presented the Bible signed by all team members who helped get Mr. Sam's project completed.
