We celebrated Easter this week by being invited to Easter dinner at a member of the church's house. Two new rigs joined our team this week. Steven and Gene & Mary Ann came in. We were able to complete a lot of work even though we ran into a snag after removing a ceiling at the house on Rebecca Street. We adjusted the team & completed more work at the other two houses.
We were invited to Rae & Anitra's house for Easter dinner. The weather was perfect for an outdoor meal.
Our team this week was Steven, Butch & Cheri, Mary Ann & Gene, Ginger & Larry, and Dennis & Nancy (leaders)
We had our team meeting on Sunday afternoon at the pavilion.
One of the major projects was installing the floor in the kitchen & dining room area. Gene & Mary Ann made sure the luan cracks were filled before placing the peel & stick floor tiles in place. The new floor was completed & the washer, dryer & refrigerator were moved back into place.
In Petal at house on Grays Crossroad, Ginger scraped the peeling paint off the garage & prepared it for painting.
Steven & Larry replaced and fastened the soffit in place on the porch.
At Griffith Mary Ann installed peel & stick tile in the Laundry area.
At Rebecca Street Cheri painted the ceilings in the rooms that had been repaired.
Butch removed the skylight & fixed the roof replacing shingles over the opening.
We are hoping that this will stop the roof leak in the area as the skylight was cracked.
Cheri & Nancy put a coat of stain on the deck at Griffith Street. Nancy pounded back in several nails that had started to pop out & removed a lot of nails that had been blown in between the decking by the tornado.
Dennis mudded & taped the bathroom. He placed 1/4 inch drywall over the old plywood to even out the walls.
Nancy cleaned the drywall dust off the walls, before the second coat of mud.
Butch installed door knobs on all the doors in the house.
Gene put up baseboard & door trims on the doors. Nancy & Mary Ann caulked them.
At Grays Crossroad, Larry, Paul (from the church) & Steven bent metal for the fascia & installed it.
A lot of the painting is finished at the front of the house at Grays Crossroad.
Thursday night we went out to the Twisted Skillet for dinner. Cheri celebrated her birthday with a cake after dinner.

Great looking crew doing excellent work. Happy birthday Cheri.
