Albright Camp Michigan NOMADS Reunion

We arrived in the rain on Tuesday May 28. After getting set up the rain ended in the early afternoon to just scattered showers.   We had a group get together in the evening to meet many new friends for us.

On Wednesday morning we started working on the camp. Nancy selected to work in the office finishing the drywall and getting a coat of paint on the inside of the building. She worked here for all 3 days getting it finished by the time the day ended on Friday.

Dennis worked on the plumbing leaks around the camp and also installed 4 windows, and 2 screen doors for the camp.

We also had a wonderful time at the campfires in the evenings. The rain made us run for cover on Thursday evening, but we had a great time learning about the Michigan NOMADS.

The evening potlucks were wonderful. On Thursday it was Nancy's birthday and the group helped her celebrate by singing to her 3 times and making her the guest of honor at the evening potluck.

Thanks to Joan and Gary Melvin for heading up this project and putting it all together.

We are currently at home and preparing for the church family campout weekend, and getting the jobs done around the house on the "list". We have put the Bighorn away for the summer and are getting the truck camper ready for the summer trips.
