On week three we took time to relax and enjoy the area as we finished the projects at LEC.
This sign at the entrance was a familiar sight for all of us working at the Life Enrichment Center.
We found this sign while walking on the Path of Silence at Warren Willis Camp
across the road from the Life Enrichment Center.
Pappy and Shirley installed lots of ceiling fans in the newly painted rooms.
Dave and Dennis bent metal for the fascia for both buildings they were doing.
Gary and Dave put up the fascia on the green room.
We held a game night on Tuesday. Marilyn, Dave, Harriet, & Jim played a
card game with several decks of cards.
Jeanie painted lots of trim. Here she is working on edging the top of a room.
Joan painted the walls with a paint roller.
Joan got a hair cut from Harriet. Harriet was once a beautician.
Jim and Harriet decked their camper out for the holidays with light, garland, and a snowman.
Harriet and Jim's tin man was decorated for Christmas by an elf from a nearby trailer.
We sat around the campfire and visited. Joan and Gary provided popcorn for everyone,
Sandi and Dave relaxing after a hard day of work. The time stamp on the picture was at 4:10 pm.
Most of the team was very tired by the end of the week, and ready for the Christmas Break. The camp provided a thank you dinner on Wednesday evening and most of the team went out on Thursday evening.
Nancy and I pulled out on Friday morning with a planned stop in the Miami area and then to Marathon in the keys for Christmas. Our plan is to relax and be tourist in the keys for a few days.
