This was our final week of period 2 at UMOM. We accomplished lots. We did lots of painting, gutter work & finished the storage room in the kitchen.
On Saturday Dennis did the NOMADS new leader training at the Arizona Potluck held at the Wesley Community Center.
There were 13 NOMADS who attended the new leader training.
On Monday we started cutting in chopstick over top of the teal paint in the hallways. After our work last week to get the teal on the walls it was decided to change to a more neutral color. Vickie worked at edging the top.
Everyday there was lots of cleanup to do. Dennis cleaned some of the paint supplies outside by the drain in the parking lot.
Dennis, Ken, & Jim worked on putting a new drip edge in the gutters.
Dennis helped edge the second coat of chopstick around the doorways of building D.
Jim finished building the storage room in the kitchen storage area. He painted the walls teal since we have lots of extra teal paint to use and the kitchen staff like it!
Jim & Jim painted the inside & outside of the gutters tan.
Madeline painted the trim around the doors.
Linda painted the first coat of paint on the steps.
By the end of the week the eight of us had just about covered what it took the 85 to do in the few hours they were here.
