This was our second week at the D.R. project in Conway, AR.
On Easter some of the team went to Easter Sun Rise Service, the Bible Study & then to the 10 a.m. service. In the Bible Study Classroom were an assortment of crosses on the wall.
After church we went to brunch at Golden Corral. Linda & Jerry joined us for brunch.
Jean & Steve painted closet doors.
Gwen & Fran worked at placing trim on doors.
Steve, Bruce, & Gary started hanging the kitchen cabinets.
Dennis worked on the electrical.
We had peep cupcakes for a snack.
We laid the flooring from the hallway into the middle of the living room then to each side of the room.
Dennis cut ceramic tile for the bathrooms & laundry area.
Sue & Judy measured a piece of flooring to finish off a run.
Judy worked at calking the baseboard.
On Thursday we went to the Hog Pen for dinner.
Nancy & Jean laid the flooring as far as possible into the kitchen.
Dennis laid the tile in the bathrooms.
The flooring was done except for a few rows inside the back door & about 1/3 of the kitchen.
Our leader, Gary hurt his knee Monday & had to rest it this week.
Saturday afternoon we returned to Michigan safe and happy to be back home after over 7 months on the road.
