This was our second week at Centenary Camp. We started the week off with rain. By the end of the week it was cooler & cloudy when a cold front moved through dropping our morning temperature on Saturday to 30 degree's. But don't worry our highs this next week are going back into the upper 70's.
Dave cleaned the steps of the pool in preparation for painting of the pool.
Rick scrubbed the walls of the pool.
Dennis scraped the failed paint liner for the pond in preparation for the tiling of the walls. The liner on the floor had failed due to the rain we experienced here last weekend.
Sandi & Nancy did touch up paint in the dorm rooms.
Sandy washed windows & mopped the floors of the dorm rooms.
Sandi added a face to her Santa hats on their motor home.
Sandi cleaned ceiling fans & lights in the lodge.
Dennis & Rick put kick plates on the doors to the dining hall & installed new locks on the doors.
Sandy & Nancy put new zip ties on the gaga pit edges.
Sandy, Sandi, & Nancy sorted & inventoried the craft closet.
Dave power washed the chapel.
Sandy helped haul pine straw needles to the ropes course.
Rick cut asphalt from the outer edge of the 9 square court.
Dennis helped the tile installer.
Sandi helped unload the filled wagons of pine straw needles.
Nancy spread the pine straw needles.
Dave & Sandi removed the broken asphalt around the 9 square court.
Dennis painted sealer on the floor of the new prayer pond we are helping build for the camp.
Thursday night we were hosted by Dave & Donna for dinner. Donna had a new recipe for pork, it was a very delicious dinner.
Dennis celebrated his birthday with a birthday cake for the desert.
On Friday night we went to see the play Fiddler on the Roof in Quincy, the tickets were given to us by a supporter of the camp.
