This was our last week at Centenary Camp. We were amazed at all the work that we were able to complete in the three weeks.
We went to Centenary Church in Quincy on Sunday. They had poinsettias around the base of one of their Christmas trees
They also have a beautiful stain glass window of Jesus in the garden.
We re-cleaned the dorms after the group that used the camp over the weekend.
Rick & Dave worked on getting the door closure to work in the dining hall.
Nancy, Sandy, & Sandi trimmed bushes around the campground.
Sandi hauled away the bush trimmings.
Dennis helped the tiler install tile on the prayer garden pool.
The tiling of the walls & floor of the pond was completed.
Sandy hunted for nails & screws under the pavilion with a magnet.
Dennis built a box for holding the large cross for the prayer garden pond.
After building the box Dennis poured cement into it to hold the base of the cross.
We all went to the cemetery cared for by the camp to do clearing of brush.
Sandy took on the job of clearing one of the small plots. The bushes & trees had grown into the fence.
Dennis cut lots of trees & brush on the entryway drive to the cemetery.
Nancy helped haul away the cut brush.
Dave did all the lawn mowing at the cemetery.
At morning break we all sat around the trailer with Dave from the camp.
Dennis & Sandy worked on putting the fence back together.
Sandi raked & cleaned up another family plot.
This is the family plot with the fence around it.
The entry drive to the cemetery had several old trees with real character to them.
This was the other family plot after we finished cleaning it.
Back at camp, Dennis & Dave worked on repairing the gate to the pool.
Dennis installed the retaining wall for the prayer garden pond.
Dave & Rick winterized the water refill stations.
Dennis showed off the cross he finished for the prayer garden pond. Water will flow out of the side arms of the cross.
Dennis & Nancy showed up for devotions on Thursday with elf hats on. Dennis had to wear the "whatever" hat since that is his favorite saying.
Sandi, Sandy & Nancy moved 406 bricks from the woods to be used in the walk way to the garden pond.
Everyone got into installing new carpet for the archery backdrop to stop the arrows.
Dennis completed the back wall of the prayer garden pond area.
