Week two at ECHO was extremely warm & muggy. We did accomplish a lot of work.
Anyone who was not busy on other projects worked on the sun screen in the plant area
We ate lunches outside the shop.
Don & George with Dennis' help worked on the new Rabbit barn .
Sandi helped prepare meals for the group that was at ECHO for a class in global farming.
Sally chopped up vegetables for the group's meals.
With Ron's help in the shop, boards were prepared for fastening down the shade cloth.
The floor of the A frame deck was removed and prepared for the new boards.
Supports were put in place for the roof of the new rabbit building
New boards and bolts were put on the second floor deck of the A frame.
We were able to hold devotions in the kitchen room of the A frame.
Pat worked on scraping the walls of the bathroom.
Arlene cut around the drywall to prepare it for painting.
Dennis & Don put in the last metal roof pieces of the rabbit building.
Sandi juiced oranges for the group that came in.
The top floor of the A frame was started on.
Chuck & Sally celebrated their 53rd wedding anniversary on Wednesday. We had cake & ice cream.
The mesh had to be stretched for attaching to the framing in the retail area.
The finished shade cloth over the walkway in the center of the plant area.
As with all NOMADS we couldn't just rest on Saturday. The camp where we are camped at asked if we would be able to put together 6 picnic tables for them. So a group of us put them together.
