We have finished our second week at Blue Lake Camp in Andalusia, Alabama. The house is coming along great.
The campers are parked in the campground.
This is our team. Dennis & Nancy (leaders), Mac & Renae, Bev, Carl & June, Bill & Kris.
After church Sunday, some of us went to lunch at Beef 'O'Brady's
Sunday evening we had a pot luck. With the meals served by the camp and our gatherings this team is eating very well!
Then we watched the movie "Joshua"
June helped us paint the last two classrooms
Dennis, Mac, Carl, & Bill took time out from the house to build a desk for one of the offices.
The sheeting was finished on the roof getting it ready for the roofers.
Renae picked up any dropped nails & screws.
Painting in the classrooms were finished
The desk was completed.
Nailing edges for the drywall was installed.
The blue board was trimmed to fit.
Ceiling supports were put in.
Mac cut the wood to sizes needed.
June taped the edges of the blue board.
Everyone helped unload & stack the hardy board siding.
The ceiling was given extra supports
Electrical boxes were installed
The porch got support boards for the installation of the porch ceiling.
Everyone blew bubbles at the devotion.
With rain predicted for the weekend, Plastic was stapled over the window & door openings by Kris & June.
90 pieces of siding were painted by Renae, Bev. & Nancy.
We went to dinner at the Gator Cafe on Thursday night.
They have the best waiter.
The food was very good.
Dennis couldn't resist a hot fudge sundae.
On Friday the roofers came & put the roof on the house.
Friday night we had a potluck & watched the movie "Seven Days in Utopia".
It was Bill's birthday, so we celebrated with cake & ice cream.
