This was our 3rd week at Blue Lake Camp in Andalusia, Alabama. The house we were working on is coming together & showing real progress.
On Sunday night we had popcorn & a movie night. We watched WWJD The Woodcarver.
For devotions, Kris made crosses for everyone out of items found on the camp.
Dennis, Carl, & Bill cut some of the painted hardy board into 1 and 1/2 inch siding starter pieces.
Nancy, Bev, & Renae finished painting 300 pieces of siding for the house.
Carl & Dennis installed the house vents
We had a campfire in the evening.
Dale, Dennis, & Mac loaded a few pieces of siding to move to the house.
Mac, Kris & Carl started to install siding.
The columns were installed on the house & all the windows were put in.
Siding was done up to the porch.
We did touch up work on the siding.
Kris continued to cut siding pieces.
Carl & June installed the siding.
Nancy put shims in around the windows.
We had a church service which included a hymn sing.
Pastor Jason came to the camp & served us communion.
Baffels were installed.
Siding was completed on two sides of the house up above the windows.
