Riverside Camp LaBelle Florida Feb 2 to Feb 8 week 2

This was our second week at Riverside Camp & Retreat Center in LaBelle, Florida. The weather was very warm with temperatures over 80 all week. We completed several items on our list.
After attending church in Alva we went to the Alva Diner for brunch.

At the campground there are about 12 large tortoises that live in the brush.

On Monday Karen & Karen helped clear the house of anything we would not be needing to work there.

Carol & Dave cut the final baseboard pieces.

Judy cleaned all the light fixtures.

Dave installed a ceiling fan in the kitchen that had been removed from one of the bedrooms.

Rod put a new threshold under the door to the porch.

Jane painted another coat of paint in the family room.

Trev built a shelf for the microwave

Greg & Rod started working on the driveway entrance.

Dennis & Trev put the microwave in

Karen cut lattice to fit around the program manager's house.

Greg & Rod replaced the beams that hold up the porch at the front of the house.

Daphne cut the bottom of the rails at the program director's house before lattice could be installed.

Dennis did some drywall repair on the small bathroom.

Dennis put expanding foam to fill the large gap in the bedroom behind the door.

Rod & Greg put new fascia along the porch.

David replaced screen on the side porch.

Carol measured the final spot for lattice on the program director's house.  They were able to complete the lattice on the house.

Dennis spread stone for the new driveway.

Dennis planted all the plants at the driveway entrance.

How many NOMADS does it take to install the chandelier in the dining room.

We went to dinner at Forrey's Grill on Thursday night.
