This was our third week at Riverside Camp & Retreat Center. The lattice was finished on the Gaga Pit & the house for the New Maintenance Man was nearly completed as far as we had supplies for. The week started out hot by the end of the week it was cold & rainy.
We went to church in LaBelle on Sunday with the team.
Judy worked on getting another coat of paint on the front door Monday morning.
Greg & Rod installed the toilet in the main bathroom.
Greg put the shower curtain rod in place.
Dave started to tackle the HVAC. It was a real challenge just getting the tubes opened up. Something had shredded the inside of the tubes.
Dave finished the screens on the side porch.
Janie spent the week doing the final painting in the entry room, living room and touch ups wherever it was needed.
Another challenge we had was the used sink in the bathroom. Rod installed it but it had a leak and then had to be removed to wait for parts.
Nancy did the brown touch up outside.
Karen, Carol & Judy finished the lattice on the gaga pit.
Trev installed the new cabinet.
Greg & Rod worked on the chain link fence.
Karen cut in paint in the living room.
Dennis hauled away the old bookcases from the house with the help of am small tractor with a cow skull on the front.
David worked at getting the outlets working.
On Wednesday night the camp gave a program about the history of the camp & served a nice dinner.
The camp gave us all t-shirts.
On Valentines Day at devotions several team members brought treats for everyone.
Dennis solved the last electrical problem by putting a blank plate over the wires that didn't work.
Karen did the final clean up of the house.
