Dooly Camp, Vienna, Georgia Dec 8 - 14 2019 Week 2

This was our second week at Dooly Camp.  We were able to get a lot of work done from our list even though the week was cool & rainy at times.

Steve & Bub continued putting Hardi board up on buildings to start the week.

Renee & Bridget calked the seams on the walls before the siding could be finished.

Steve cleaned up all the scraps from the work area around the buildings where they were putting up Hardi board.

Nancy & Midge decorated the Christmas tree in the dining hall.

Midge cleaned the refrigerator in the dining hall kitchen.

Bridget & Renee hunted down ants & fed them well.

Midge sharpened the knives in the kitchen.

Steve used the leaf blower to clear leaves off the front of the dining hall.

We were treated by the camp to dinner at the "Fruits of Vienna" Bed & Breakfast. It was a very nice meal.

Karen fixed the chairs & tables in the dining hall.

Midge used comet to rescue the whiteboard in the kitchen.  Permanent ink was used on the board some time before we came & comet removed it!

Bridget installed some of the boards on the buildings before the Hardi board could be put up.

Steve & Bub installed the new door on the water heater room.

The finished door will allow the needed ventilation for the on demand water heaters.

Midge cleaned the pews in the chapel.

Some of the pews needed to be fixed. Keren had the tools & Bub & Steve helped.

Smaller new PVC vent pipes were installed on the preacher's cabin so that the Hardi board could be installed over them.

Steve & Dennis attached the batten boards on one of the buildings.

Keren fixed the leak in the kitchen sink.

Dennis put the new boot over the vent pipe on the roof.

Thursday night we went to dinner at Cracker Barrel.  The food was great & we had a good time.

Saturday night we had snacks in the conference center.

After we ate we watched the movie "The Woodcarver".
