We finished our second week here in Winter Haven, Florida. The weather here has been cool this week but still not too bad. It warmed up on Friday and the prediction is for 70's this next week. The team worked very hard this week moving the jobs along. The tile is all down but still needs to be finished next week.
On Sunday we went to a concert at the church by Sentimental Journey Men.
These birds have been watching our campers from a tree near by everyday.
John started the week off by removing a broken window & replacing it with a new one.
We continued our tiling project of the fellowship hall. Dennis & Al worked off both sides of the center of the room.
Mary Ann helped put grouting in a calk tube on the base board tiles.
Arlin helped cut tiles for the floor.
Wanda cut in the outside wall addition.
Judy was the official mixer of the mortar.
John & Mary Ann went to Eloise to clean the gutters at the Angel Care building.
Mary Ann & John installed new lights in the Sunday School rooms at the Wahneta site.
Bill cut & installed new tiles in the ceiling of the Sunday School rooms.
Nancy finished painting the outside of the building repairs.
Dennis took over cutting floor tiles.
Nancy cleaned out the extra mortar before we grouted the floor.
Mary Ann vacuumed the floors to get the ready for grout.
Dennis applied grout.
Al worked on the tiles in the kitchen.
Mary Ann, Judy & Nancy cleaned the excess grout from the tiles.
Al put tiles into the closet.
Bill worked at pulling the ducts in the ceiling up before putting ceiling tiles in.
Wanda mopped the tiles in the fellowship hall while Judy buffed the floors & Nancy added finishing grout to the wall tiles.
Not only were we able to finish the tiling in the fellowship hall but we were able to complete the kitchen tiling.
Friday night we were treated to a Valentines fellowship dinner & silent auction at the church. We had a great week of work with team members having sore bones and muscles to show for it.
