This was our third week at The Children's Home in Enterprise. A lot of work was accomplished even though we had rain all day on Wednesday and into Thursday.
Lee & Wade joined forces to replace the lights around the campus. Lee at first thought that this bulb was his light saber for his star wars try out!
Dennis started power washing the fence at one of the homes across the street which are part of the campus.
Jim & Jack gathered their tools to check all the fire exit signs on campus. They replaced batteries and signs that no longer worked prior to the fire marshal visit.
Lee with assistance from Wade, went from building to building replacing burnt out light bulbs & fixing non working light fixtures & balances.
Dennis power washed the lawn furniture in the backyard of one of the homes.
Connie & Betsy scraped paint off the glass of one of the doors.
Nancy power scrubbed the sidewalks by the main entrance.
Judie demonstrated to Betsy & Lo how to use a power palm sander to removed ink on cork boards.
Connie edged the floor in one of the rooms.
On top of one of the poles on campus was a nest with mama bird & babies.
Dennis & Nancy power washed one of the homes while the rain came in on Wednesday.
On our final day with it raining outside the whole team was in on of the houses to work. Lee sanded and then sealed the top of the dressers.
All eight bedrooms were repainted here Lo is trimming along the bottom for the roller to follow.
Nancy and Dennis took on a bedroom and repainted it in the morning.
