This was our first week leading the Wimberley, Texas project. We had 13 people on our team and worked on two condos and one double-wide home.
After church on Sunday we went to Granny D's for lunch. It is a small restaurant that serves home style cooking and features breakfast all day.
We had 2 new units joining our team this week and started with the team get acquainted meeting on Sunday.
Levina painted kilz on the baseboard.
Jeff cut hardy board for the bathroom.
Herman continued caulking the crown molding he had installed.
Jeff & Al helped to remove the water heater, so the closet could have drywall installed.
Larry installed new lights in the kitchen & dining room.
Dennis taped and mudded the water heater closet.
Herman installed new closet doors in the baby's bedroom.
Jean hauled away tear out debris from inside the double-wide.
Paula painted the soffets and fascia.
Herman & Larry inspected the roof of the double-wide & started the repairs. We found that we did not need to do a complete tear off just repair and seal it up.
Anne painted the window trim.
Bob and Herman installed new support boards inside the double-wide to fasten the drywall to.
Nancy painted the newly textured wall in the condo we were working on..
Larry cleaned his tools after fixing an area in the living room that had pealed loose.
Debbie touched up walls in the condo.
Al tiled and grouted the shower surround in glass tiles.
Dennis installed the final vents in the condo.
On Thursday night we went to Baja BBQ at the marina. Two couples were leaving the project this week. As we started the week with a meal we finished with another.
