Our last week in Pensacola found us trying to finish the house repairs for Ms. Beatrice before we closed the project.
Nancy started Monday morning by finishing the back steps and porch.
We decided to place a plastic cover over the hallway bath to protect it from the water.
Joe and Donna look at the finished plastic over the window in the shower.
Donna prepared to seal around the ceiling by caulking the seams.
Dennis placed a piece of drywall in the hallway to fix the hole there and then mudded it over with 45 minute mud.
Nancy installed the quarter round around the ceiling in the bathroom.
Joe installed the new back door and fixed the rotted framing on the house.
Gene read the scripture while Dennis presented Ms. Beatrice with the bible signed by all of the NOMADS.
On the last day it took the efforts of the whole team to help get this house finished. This was the final house being worked on in the project as it was closing down with 125 homes repaired.
That evening the team went to Brothers BBQ to celebrate the end of the week and the project.
