This was our third week working in Maysville. We had a team of 10 people and were able to see a lot of progress made.
On Sunday most of us went to church at Elmore City UMC.
After church we went to lunch at the Happy Days Diner.
Chris & Susan Joined our team this week.
Janette & Bruce also joined our team.
Bob painted the outside of the house we are working on.
Susan put a coat of paint on the door for the upstairs bathroom.
Bruce put luan on the bathroom floor before putting on the floor tiles.
Dennis put connectors & drywall on the water connectors for the downstairs bathroom.
Dennis installed the light fixtures.
Annette painted the wall in the second house we are working on.
Danny used the hawk to texture walls in the second house.
Chris did clean up of the tools at the second house.
Dennis installed the cover on the electrical box at the first house.
Paige painted coats of paint under the staircase that will be used as a closet.
Jeanette rolled the ceilings downstairs.
Bob & Bruce installed the top cabinets in the kitchen.
Bruce & Bob completed installing the counter top.
At the second house Chris & Susan installed trim around the drywall.
Bob installed the sink in the first house.
Paige helped Bob put the counter top edging on with a heat gun.
Dennis framed in the shower.
Nancy helped Bruce cut trim for the stair way.
Bruce & Bob installed a kick plate at the bottom of the kitchen cabinets.
Nancy & Janette calked the stairway.
At the second house Danny & Annette installed a new wood floor.
Thursday night we went to Badger Den for dinner.
Danny told our waiter that he got a blister on his finger last week from the gravy so the waiter put a piece of tape on his finger so he would not hurt himself this week.
Danny was given a special hat to wear after dinner by the owner for all the harassment he had received. We thank Danny and Annette for helping on the project as they leave us this week.
