This was our 4th and last week on the Wimberley Texas Disaster Recovery Project. We had a smaller team this week & we all worked on the same house for the first three days. The home owner came by to visit the team this week and told us how much they appreciated our work.
On Sunday night we had our get acquainted meeting. We welcomed Pat & Ken, and Helen & Rob to the team. We also welcomed back Don.
Ken & Pat worked on getting the deck railing finished.
Helen painted Kilz on the back of the house.
Al & Don took out the old back door.
Rob & Helen painted kilz on the ceiling inside the house.
Dennis installed lattice around the front deck.
Rob textured the ceiling.
Don & Al finished the last few siding pieces of the back of the house.
Nancy painted kilz & house paint on the over hang between the house & garage.
Dennis replaced the board on the corner of the garage that was falling apart.
Debbie painted the fascia & soffit on the house.
Al & Don put in the new back door.
Helen painted the ceilings with ceiling paint.
Pat pulled staples & nails from the floor getting it ready for new flooring to be installed next week.
Ken & Don replaced the crown molding.
Dennis painted the hard to reach fascia & soffit on the house & porch.
By the end of Thursday the majority of the outside work was finished on the house. The next team will still have the floor and water heater to get installed.
