On Friday was the Florida NOMADS winter meeting at the Life Enrichment Center at Fruitland Park. There were NOMADS that attended from all over the country. Many of them were on their way to or from projects in Florida.
Betsy and Dottie's sister Lynda worked registration.
A luncheon was served by the Life Enrichment Center. There were over 120 NOMADS & Alumni in attendance.
Nancy brought some of the NOMADS promotional items to sell. We sold a lot of items with the carpenter NOMADS pencils with pulls being the best seller.
Billie from the Life Enrichment Center welcomed us to their campus.
Jayne led group singing.
Dottie was in charge of the meeting & introduced each speaker with a multiple choice question.
Mike & Susan talked about the NOMADS Auction. Dottie presented Mike & Susan with the first donated item for the 2018 NOMADS Annual Meeting Auction. It was a beautiful handmade stained glass hanger with the Methodist symbol & NOMADS on it. Mike also spoke for the Disaster Recovery Committee.
Nancy gave a welcome from the board, treasure report, Membership Committee report & how to promote NOMADS.
Larry helped MC the Meeting and talked about the Florida projects.
After the luncheon there were 27 NOMADS Members who attended the new leader training given by Dennis.
