Palm Sunday Easter Eggstravaganza March 25 2018

The church held an Easter Extravaganza on Sunday March 25.  It was held for the community of Hattiesburg.  There were over 200 children that came to it.  There were games, an egg hunt, food, slide, bouncy house, petting zoo, pictures with the Easter bunny, a raffle, cake walk, & other fun things for the children to do.

Dennis & Jean helped unload the inflatable bouncy house & an inflatable slide for the kids to play on.

A hand painted sign was placed in front of the church.  The Easter Extravaganza was from 3 to 4:30.

There was a huge Easter egg hunt for the kids.  They had to find eggs numbered 1 to 10 & then could bring them up to the pavilion to exchange for candy.

The RV's were parked at the start of the pathway to the extravaganza.  NOMADS helped build holders for the flags and cones to corral people as they went to enjoy the activities in the church field below.

Nancy helped decorate & put up signs.

Several members of our team helped put out the numbered plastic eggs.  The eggs were arranged in age groups inside flagged areas.

Every child received a ticket to be entered into a drawing for one of two big bunnies.

Dennis & Mike supervised the hunt area for kindergarten through second grade children. The children brought their own baskets to collect eggs in.

David & Laura helped with the monkey ball toss game.  The children threw a football through the circle that the monkey was holding. When they got a ball in they picked out a prize.

Nancy made a new friend, the Easter bunny.  Anyone could get their picture taken with the bunny.

We decorated our campers for the day with Easter decorations.  After all the children left we all helped collect the left over eggs & removed the cones & flags & helped put them away.
