This is the second week of the final project here at UMOM for this spring. We had a beautiful week of weather with the team accomplishing a lot of work even though we had several members get ill for a couple of days this week.
Carol and the gals started the week prepping the chapel for painting the final half.
Dennis and Jerry brought the scaffold into the chapel to be able to get to the upper section.
Kent and Steve worked on rebuilding the patio in the recreation area.
Martha not only did a wonderful job painting the doors but seamed to enjoy it!
After they identified paint to be disposed of Roger put plastic down and started pouring it out for drying.
Mardel worked on touching up the Chopstick in the hallways.
The ladies on the painting team worked together and had a fun time doing it.
Roger worked to help by painting the paint room using the "Teal"
Mary and Don Becker came on Tuesday and thanked the team for all they are doing for UMOM.
Dennis took on painting around the letters in the chapel on the 10 foot step ladder.
Pat helped out in the office and was given a large pile of papers that needed to be shredded.
Roger recruited Carol and Mardel to help dump some of the paint cans.
Roger also mixed the cement for the sump pump basin in the elevator pump room.
Roger spent time with the planning for the kneeling benches we are building for the chapel.
Roger worked at getting all of the paint organized on the shelves in the paint room.
Several of the ladies scraped and painted the car stops in the newly paved parking lot.
On Thursday we went to Five Guys Burgers for dinner and fun together.
